This month I’ve been mainly pulling my hair out!!!

What a time it’s been the weather both here and in France has been pretty well awful, up and down or what!! So has the fishing too, not so bad on the Lakes, as we are lucky with our stock levels so there’s always something being caught.

We are just over half way into the season, the “Roll of Honour” has now reached 92 with John Painter, Email just come in of his 50lber from Lake 5 late on Friday after the catch reports were collected and photos downloaded onto our laptop. Oryst did them this time as Matt was on a well earned break, how he can remember everyone’s names each week let alone from years ago, amazes me and everyone else, likewise he never forgets a joke either, and he is full of them. Couldn’t wish to meet a nicer guy.

This week to top it all my boy Rael who works at good old

Mainline, has torn muscles in his chest, so has had a bit of discomfort from that, then his young daughter Freya bounced on his leg and put his knee out, and tore tendons and such like, bad enough for him to spend hours in agony in the A&E. When they gave him his X-Ray, they nearly died, because they thought he had a bullet in his leg, in fact it was the metal zip on his track suit bottoms, which caused the panic. However Raels really struggling to move, because of his chest strain he can’t use his crutches, he tried to work Friday but struggled, he spoke to Kev on Friday and said he’d take the week off to give his leg a chance to heal and the anti-inflammatory drugs to do their thing.
