Matt's Master Class
(A guide to fishing DreamLakes)

DL4
The margins can be very productive though noise should be kept to a minimum on DL4. Utilisation of the swims is necessary to be effective too - if you all fish on one side the fish will move over to the other side, so space yourselves out. Take a walk round the lake to identify gaps and places of refuge where you can place your marker and then bait up accurately to take full advantage. It is also worth noting that you should not ignore the centre, where features are quite prominent and remember: accurate baiting = confident fishing.

In conclusion, DL4 is a beautiful little lake, ideal for small groups of 4 or 5 anglers and, with the correct observation, the fish are readily located and their movements monitored.

Tip: if most takes are coming during the night, then it could be well worth resting your swim for a few hours during the day. This will release the pressure and give the fish chance to move around more comfortably and confidently.
