DreamLake 1, West Point

Topography
Open water swim with the bar at 85 yards and the gully at 80 yds. You will find 3 -4 feet on top of the bar which drops down to 8 feet in the silty gully. You pick up the gravel strip at 75yds with 7 feet depth. You also have a great view of a large part of the lake so you can see fish movement whilst watching the water. Plenty of silt/gravel patches in front.

Hotspots/Distance/Direction
I would first determine whether the fish were in the gravel, gully or on top of the bar. If they show on top of the bar I would put at least 1 rod on it, if not 2! I would also put a rod into the gully where fish will root around looking for food items. I would also present a bait on the clean gravel just this side of the silt gully. The choice will probably be made for you by the fish.

Tips/Observations
You will see many fish over the areas so make your pick and try it for the first 2 days. If you are not happy then, or you feel you may do better, then change it! Give them plenty of bait!
