DreamLake 1, Three Steps

Topography
A great swim this as you can see a lot of the lake and therefore spot fish. You have the spit end and also the start of the bar and silt gully. At the start of the bar you have 2 feet and 8 yards down you will find 4 feet on top. It drops into the gully going down to 8 feet depth. As you come out of the gully you have a strip of gravel which is 2 yds wide by 7yds long.

Hotspots/Distance/Direction
LHR on the corner of the spit in 2 feet of water to pick up fish that are coming around the corner of the spit.
MR into the silt gully in 8 feet of water especially at the beginning of the season, (April/May) time. Put plenty of bait in to hold the fish. RHR either onto the top of the bar or a silty or gravely spot. Put this rod onto showing fish.

Tips/Observations
Bait, Bait, Bait! To stop the fish you will need to pile it in. The fish will give signs of where they are so use this to your advantage. Watch for "feeding" fish and not "playing" fish.
