DreamLake 1, The Pads

Topography
2 sets of pads at the end and 5 yards up from the end of the spit, 90 & 80 yards to each set. Very weedy around front of pads. Sides of pads shows 3 feet to 4 feet depth. Lovely silty patch at 55 yards straight out in front. At 30 yards in front, gravel patch covered in light weed.

Hotspots/Distance/Direction
Don't fish the front of the pads! Fish down the side in-between the 2 sets of pads - 4 feet depth. The 55 yard silt pocket has 6 feet depth of water, weed surrounds it. Good area that produces. Slightly to the left at 30 yards distance, gravel strip, 5.5 feet of water over top with weed beds around it. Good early morning spot.

Tips/Observations
Watch for the fish showing by the pads. Bait up tight by going onto the spit to put bait in. Keep the food going in.
