DreamLake 4 Swim Guides

Lake 4 is a comparatively small lake with 8 swims on it and is square in shape. The features are small apart from the bar/gully that runs across from one side to the other. Large trees surround the lake and the margins by these trees are always worth looking into. There are silt and gravel spots - some are bigger than others but all are well worth exploring. I would imagine that the fish in this lake move about a lot and therefore, can never be far from your bait.

The stock in Dreamlake 4 is large for a lake of this size. There are mirrors, commons, grassies and catfish to give you a wide choice to go for. The stocking has purposely been made heavy to try and ensure that the anglers that fish this water catch well. The largest fish I have heard of was a 48lb 6oz mirror but bigger fish may have been caught. There are plenty of 30's and loads of 20's with anglers often catching 30 to 40 fish in a good session.

The fish are once again there for the taking and do move onto beds of bait. Put the effort in and you can have a fantastic holiday on this lake and have a catch of a lifetime as well as having a chance of upping your P.B. The lodge is in between this lake and DL5 so everything is nice and handy for the showers etc. especially if you catch one of the many large catfish and need to clean up after a photo session.

Keep the tight lines singing……………Paul "Richy" Richardson.
