DreamLake 2, Pegs 20-25

These are "middle of the lake" pegs where you have a lot of different features to go at which include; gravel, silt, clay and weed in some places.

The time of year that you fish the lake depends upon how much weed growth that is in the lake, but I have never known it get bad at all in this lake!

In front of these swims there are slight rises in the bottom of only perhaps 6ft to form a kind of plateau. These "plateaus" can really hold some fish in numbers. The margin is 2ft dropping away to 4ft within a short distance from the bank. This gradually shelves off to 7ft towards the 40yds distance. Towards the middle at a range of 70yds there is a slight rise with light silt covering gravel with 6ft of water over it. If you can find one of these plateaus in the swim you are in, it is a great spot to present a bait and to spod onto. The gravel here tends to run in strips as opposed to small "spots or areas". The gavel strip off most of these pegs is at a distance of 65yds so it is very easy to bait up and spod to accurately without a great amount of effort. Look out for the silt pockets that are in every one of these swims as they are natural "larders" to the fish. These swims have a hell of a lot to go at so make the most of them. WATCH THE WATER!!!
