DreamLake 2, Pegs 1-5

These pegs are at the slightly shallower northern end of this lake.

If the weather is hot, sunny and clammy with a wind blowing a breeze towards the tree-line at the bottom end of the lake from the south, these swims can really come into their own.

They can fish well at various distances. Look for the usual type of features but you also have a silty gully to go at towards the middle of the lake. There are typical features of silt and gravel patches, with some weed in amongst the features. The distances you can fish here range from 25-75yds.

The fish are not always in the middle as some people seem to think they are. Fish a bait close in where the water starts to shelve off, just where the marker shows 5ft. Watch out for a "cat" invasion though! You will find depths of 2ft in the margin, 5ft on the shelf, which goes down eventually to spots of 6 or 7ft. Prepare for some spodding to hold the fish.
