DreamLake 1, Deer Dip

Topography
As in Unknown, the spit can hold fish which move up and down very close to it in 3 - 4 feet of water only 1-2 yds from the spit. Fish move up and down the arm at distances from 20 to 75yds from the swim. Find the gravel, silt and weedy spots with an average depth of 7 feet. Plenty of areas for you to go at!

Hotspots/Distance/Direction
LHR cast 35yds to a slight hump (rises 6") that is only 1yd across. MR cast tight to the spit where the reeds show. The bait needs to be 1yd in front of the reeds in 3' of water.
RHR fish 4yds from the spit where the weed starts on the clay bottom. If the fish are not tight to the spit, this rod will pick them up. Cover more water!!!

Tips/Observations
When fishing tight to the spit, a drop back is not un-common. Do not ignore small drop backs however small. Go onto the spit to bait up "on the button". Dont forget the spodding!
