Bailiff's Diary: w/e 1st April 2011
Well it’s that time of the year again, it comes round so fast now!! The first week can be a bit hit ‘n’ miss, as we know, weather wise the week began rather unsettled, some sun to follow and decent temperatures too, 9-10 degrees at night, highs of 20 degrees.
Fishing wise it was a slow start for Lakes 1 and 3, with more fish towards the end of the week, we had a few 50’s and a 60lber from Lake 2, blinding bunch of lads, hopefully things will pick up a bit for next week.
Many thanks to Steve Rand the volunteer bailiff this week, who did a real good job, Matt tells us!!

It would seem by all accounts that a vast majority of the fish where down the ‘Snags’ end of the Lake. Two swims up in the ‘Slope’ Dan Horton managed to take 9 fish inc. 4x30’s on the Grange CSL 27kgs in fact!!
Anthony Hutcherson >>> in the ‘Chimneys’ only caught 4 starting from 39lbs then 2x40lbers of 40lbs and 41lbs Common, then topped it off with a 57lb Mirror, all taken on the Cell, 30kgs was used again.
