Bailiff's Diary: w/e 8th April 2011
The weather's getting better all the time now, however the water is still surprisingly cold, as you’ll know if you’ve been in for a dip, to photo a biggie!!!
The week started off slowly, but did pick-up later in the week, with the warmer days, the old Zigs a foot or so below the surface has been catching a few fish.
A lot of the lads on 2 this week, quite a few lads on their 1st trip, put out a fair bit of bait too quickly, obviously they’ve been lead to believe this is the method, not to start with it is’nt!!! Everyone should start little and often, then take it from there, remember it's still only early days, you can get away with it more later in the season!! Not only that, it's bleedin expensive too!!
I’ll start the reports this week on Lake 1 as usual.
Those bleedin fish holed up in the ‘Snags’ again at the start of the week, then they moved out, or lots of them did, then just to make me “look a liar” they moved back down again, then moved back out again towards the end of the week.
