Carp this week went to Ian Rowney (DL1-Sunset-Active8)
with a delightful 51lb 9oz common in addition to 3 x
40’s to a 48lb 12oz common and cats to 66lb.

Cat went to Mick Barber (DL1-Chimneys-Active8)
with a huge 83lb specimen.

Catch went to Dan Last (DL4-swim 2-Cell) with
a massive 63 fish catch including cats to 61lb and carp
to a 43lb 14oz mirror. Dan’s Dad, Charlie, even
had a 32 fish catch -not bad for a week’s work,
95 fish banked between them….. nice one chaps!

cats to 65lb and carp to a 36lb 14oz common; Martin Richardson
(swim 6-Active8) with a 39lb 10oz mirror including 3 x
30lb+ carp and Jamie Reddy (swim 2-Fake corn) with 4 x

DL4 – Dan & Charlie
Last hired the lake to themselves, fishing Cell boilies
from swims 2 and 3, they took a 95 fish catch. Dan had
a 63 fish catch including cats to 61lb, carp to a 43lb
14oz mirror, 10x 30’s and 18 x 20’s while Charlie
had 6 x 30’s to a 39lb 5oz mirror, and 18 x 20’s.
DL5 – Chris
Leach (swim 7-Pineapple) with carp including 2 x 40’s
to a 48lb mirror; Steven Leach (swim 6-Active8) with 5
x 30lb+ carp to a 39lb 8oz mirror; Richard Cartwright (swim
4-Active8) with 3 x 30lb+ carp to a 38lb 8oz mirror and
John Champ (swim 4-Active8) with carp to a 36lb 10oz mirror.

A mainly bright and sunny
week kept the daytime temps up to a very pleasant average
of 25C and night temps at 13C. However, Tues & Wed
did see some more cloudy and windy conditions and, unfortunately,
rain had crept in by the weekend to bring the temperature
down a few degrees.
